Where Ever You Go…

…there you are.

And here I am! I officially “arrived” in my new town last Saturday night, and have spent the last few days doing… I’m not sure what. Oh, well, on Monday I wrote a blog post for the Rockville 8… on Tuesday I did some cleaning, shopping and cooking… Wednesday my husband and I went out driving and looking at the pretty sights… and today I’ve gotten a little writing in. So there, that’s been my exciting week.

I have to say, it feels bloody weird not to have a job to get up and go to every morning. The idea of working from home, writing full time, is  enticing but scary. It will involve that thing that I so sorely lack: discipline. (The very word makes me shudder!) But hopefully I will rise to the challenge, and take advantage of this opportunity. I know it’s a blessing to have this chance to really make a “go” of my writing, and I’m going to try not to waste it. The internet here can be a little spotty, but that’s probably a blessing too, as it helps keeps me off of social media (and away from Netflix)!

It’s been raining here for the past few days, so I haven’t had much of a chance to take pictures. But I did get in a few good shots, so I’ll share them with you now. Surrounded by so much beauty, I’m going to have to up my photo-taking game!
