Friday Freebies: “Love Letter Collection” and “Daffodils”

Hey there, book friends! In the spirit of “New Year, New You” I’ve decided to revive my blog and start posting regularly again. As part of this fun new exercise, I will be sharing free books that I find on Kindle. These will be either books I have read and enjoyed, or books that have on my Kindle. Let’s see what kind of books we can find, and what kind of imaginary trouble we can get into (in a good way)! These books will be free when I find and post them, but of course there’s no way for me to know how long the free price will last. So, if you see something you like, my suggestion would be to click and download as soon as possible. 😊

Today I have two books to share with you. They’re both in the genre of 20th Century Historical Fiction, and both sound so good that I couldn’t bring myself to choose between them. Here you go:

Love Letter Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology by Various Authors

A collection of six stories by different authors. According to a reviewer, the stories are sweet, clean romances, appropriate for all ages. They range from the 1800s to current times. Some of them have a lot of humor, and some are more serious.

It sounds like a fascinating variety of stories! I just downloaded it. You can find it here.

Daffodils by Alex Martin

This is book one in The Katherine Wheel Series by Alex Martin. Katy, a maidservant at Cheadle Manor, longs to escape her narrow life but events unfold slowly in her rural village in Wiltshire. Jem Phipps has always loved Katy. His proposal of marriage rescues her from scandal but after tragedy strikes Jem becomes a reluctant soldier on the battlefields of The First World War, leaving Katy behind, restless and alone. Lionel White, the local curate, has just returned from India bringing a dash of color to the small village and offers Katy a window on the wider world.

Sounds like it would be right up my alley! I downloaded mine, and you can find it here.

I hope that one, or both, of these freebies strikes your fancy! Let me know in the comments if download either one, and how you like them. ❤️

Hugs and Happy Reading,

Misha
