Social Sunday: Popular Posts from This Week

Happy Sunday, book friends! Last week’s Social Sunday post was fun and got some great response, so I thought I would do it again! Here are my most popular posts from last week’s social media. Hope you enjoy!

This quote post was the most-loved on Instagram, Twitter(slash-X) and Pinterest! That is the power of books, and the power of Benedict Cumberbatch! And the sentiment, of course. We’ve all been there, haven’t we?

This quote is yet another reason to love Benedict Cumberbatch (as if we needed one, right?). ♥️
“I can feel infinitely alive curled up on the sofa reading a book.” – Benedict Cumberbatch 🥰📚💫 #bookquote #readingquote #benedictcumberbatch

I’m flattered to say that that this post about my book, Her Secret Bodyguard, got the most response on Facebook this week! I’d like to think it’s because of my literary genius or the beautiful cover, but I’m pretty sure it’s the cupcake. And maybe the question that went with the image (you can read it below). Either way, thanks for the love!

How do you feel about authors writing in different genres? Her Secret Bodyguard was the first book I wrote that was outside the Angel River universe. I wrote it because I wanted to try something different, something fun and flirty and adventurous, but which still had strong themes of home, family and how falling in love can help us to connect with the deepest part of ourselves. The result was this book, where a Special Forces veteran is secretly hired to protect a Malibu playgirl. It might be different from my usual fare, but the heart is the same.
