Today we reflect, with gratitude, on the life and lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., one of history’s greatest humanitarians. Dr. King committed his life to bringing grace, peace and freedom to our young and violent country. He saw the best in humanity; he knew that we can be better and kinder, that we can uplift each other and bring a brighter and more loving future to bear. We can still fulfill his dream, as long as we keep moving forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Here is a link to his classic work, Strength to Love, in case you want to read more about him, in his own words:
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Let’s make practicing what he preached a year-round thing.
