UPDATE: 7/6/15 I’ve been changing things a little at a time, testing this color and that color. Here’s what the site looked like at the end of May. As you can see, a few changes have been made… and then unmade… and then made again. I’m always torn between changing everything and just tweaking the color scheme. But with so many colors to choose from, it’s taking me forever to get it right (same reason it takes me so long to write a book, incidentally).

Thanks for bearing with me while I play! I should have the updates done by the end of July. Comments, suggestions, and even complaints are always welcome! You can leave them in the comment section, or use the form on the Contact page to get in touch.

ORIGINAL POST: 5/26/15 Yes, it’s definitely time to update/refresh the look of this site. I do the design work myself (in case you couldn’t tell *wink*), so my options are limited. But I’d like it to look pretty, fresh, fun and interesting!

I’d welcome suggestions for content, color schemes, featured items, etc. I’m up for pretty much anything at this point!

headshot cropped 040315I’m also going to get some new author photos taken within the next few months. In the meantime, here’s a recent shot of me, just in case you’re curious.

Looking forward to your comments and ideas!

  1. Hi Misha: I tried myself first, but failed miserably and after a competitive search engaged Danielle Koehler of http://www.dilatopia.com. It costs a bit of money but at least I got the result I wanted. Look at http://johnschwartzauthor.com. I provided a lot of photo material she used. If you can do it yourself, my hat off, and good luck! – John
