A Snowy Weekend In January

January 25, 2016

For most of us on the East Coast, this pastย weekend was all about ****snow****.ย In the Shenandoah Valley, we got a little over 24 inches, and that was plenty! I was personally impressed by howย fast the road crews cleared the streets. My husband dug out one of our cars yesterday, so we were able to drive out and get a little emotional head space.

I posted these pictures on Instagram andย my Facebook page, but thought you might like to see them here, as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you and your loved ones were safe and warm this weekend!

It looks lovely! Kitty-cornered from you in Virginia, we got slightly more than a dusting. It seemed to snow forever, but the ground was too warm to do more than create a layer of slush. Today it’s mostly gone. At least we don’t have to shovel it.

Wow sounds like you all got the best of all worlds: all the pretty snow, and none of the cleanup! That’s great! ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks so much for your comment!

Beautiful! And in Washington, DC it was also beautiful and people came out to play like children. I haven’t seen the city so happy since the Redskins won the Super Bowl!! I think the fun has been worth the ugh part.

That’s awesome about the adults playing like children. Love that. ๐Ÿ’œ And couldn’t agree more about the fun being worth the ugh! This was a very fun snow. ๐Ÿ˜„
